I've never done aerial or yoga before. Which class should I sign up for?
You are welcome to try any classes as these are designed for all levels of fitness experience. We recommend starting with the Fundamentals classes to become used to using the yoga postures and aerial silks in your movement. All classes focus on alignment, safety, and movement with close guidance and instruction. Once you are comfortable, you can explore our other offerings. All classes are designed with student’s goals and abilities in mind. When in doubt, ask your instructor!

What should I wear to aerial classes?
Can I eat before yoga or aerial?
Can you do aerial or yoga if you are pregnant?
It is always best to speak to your physician about your own health and limitations – as every body is unique. Please make sure to bring your doctor’s permit with you when you come to your first class.
Can I take pictures?
Can I bring a friend or family member?
Absolutely! We believe fitness should be a fun time, and encourage you to bring your loved ones with you. Children from 16 years of age with a parent and adults are welcome to our studio. If they wish to take a class with you, you will need to reserve a silk for them separately.
What ages do you train? Do you only work with females?
We work with students from 16 years old and up Fitness is accessible to all ages, and both genders.
How big are the classes?
Om Base offers aerial classes of up to 11 students so that everyone is guaranteed their own silk. All students are given hands on instruction with classes that are catered to their abilities, skills, and goals. With smaller group classes, safety is the number one priority for all students. We ask that since you must reserve your own hammock or silk to please be courteous about signing up on our scheduling software and cancelling classes before 24 hours so that other students on the waiting list may get a spot. ** All classes require pre-registration so that everyone is guaranteed their own hammock**
What should I wear, what should I bring and when should I arrive for my first yoga class?
How do I sign up for classes?
Book through our scheduling system to reserve our classes. First-timers should arrive 15 minutes before class to meet your yoga instructor and ask questions. If you want to practice during our most popular times (early morning or evening classes), get to the studio about 10-15 minutes early to snag a spot. Students can reserve classes in advance using our website. If online reservation is available, classes will have a ‘Book’ button under the class name on the studio schedule.
How does online reservations work?
To reserve a class, you must sign in to your Yoga OM online account. If this is your first time signing into our website, create an account. Once you have signed in or created your account, please visit the Studio Schedule to book your classes.
Be sure to subscribe to our emails to receive your class booking confirmations and stay in the know when it comes to all things Yoga OM.
How do I get started?
Take advantage of our Introductory offer — $47 for 21 days of unlimited yoga and fitness classes. You will be prompted to create a user profile and complete your purchase. Plan to arrive to your first class 15 minutes early so you have plenty of time to become oriented, settled, and ready to experience your first class. If you prefer to sign up in-studio, simply arrive 15-20 minutes before class. We are delighted to assist you.
Can I buy water at the studio?
In keeping with our commitment to reducing waste, Yoga Om does not sell water bottles, though we do have filtered water dispensers. Bring your own bottle and fill up in the studio.
